Our Story—is his

For years we dreamed of doing ministry together. We prayed God would use our gifts and blessings for His purposes and His glory. And by faith, we stepped onto the path He set before us. Today, the joy is deep and the adventure is real.

Our dream now is that Deer Creek becomes a spiritual marker in the lives of people as they journey with God, just as it has become for us.

Our beginnings

In 1996, the Behling family began leading youth retreats in the heart of Texas’ Hill County. By 1999, they had established Deer Creek Camp as a Christ-centered, life-changing, positive camp experience.

Today, we live, love and camp in the legacy of all that God has done.
